Brought up by parents from Ashland and Portage Maine, Registered Maine Guide Matthew Snowman's roots in Maine are deeply entrenched.
Growing up in Millinocket, Matt’s father had a strong interest in the outdoors and nature, Matt was exposed to this early on. Maine living is Matt’s Zen, and he enjoys outdoor activities in all four seasons. Whether it's exploring the Maine woods during winter on his snowmobile, checking his Morel mushroom patch and fishing for smelts in the spring, hiking into a remote pond for an evening of flyfishing during the summer or hunting for grouse and deer in the fall, Matt is an outdoor enthusiast.
Matt’s experience in the North Maine Woods is a part of him.

Matt Snowman, owner of North Woods Property Maintenance & Supply Co. (North Woods PMSC) still has a career in technical drawing, specifically, structural steel detailing and has found that building comes naturally to him and he has a strong attention to detail in everything he does.

Matt has solid experience which includes general carpentry & building maintenance, excavation, driveway grading, rock walls, snow removal, etc.
